Hayley Dyson Chair of Governors 2025-2027
As the Chair of Governors, I would like to welcome all visitors, parents, students and their families and carers to Blakehill Primary School on behalf of myself and the Full Governing Body.
I have been a Parent Governor at Blakehill since 2023 when my son joined Blakehill, and became Chair of Governors in October 2025. I am passionate about Blakehill and all it does for its students, families, staff, Governing Body and the Community, and I feel very privileged to have this role.
Being Governors allows us to work with Blakehill’s Senior Leadership Team and see behind the scenes, including all the effort, genuine care, kindness and excellence of the staff and leaders at Blakehill. The teachers and leaders want the best for our students, going above and beyond to provide this for them throughout their school life.
As Chair of Governors, I am driven to support Blakehill, its leaders and the Governing Body to achieve the best outcomes for our students and their families. We do this by collaborating with Blakehill’s teachers and leaders; spending time in school; challenging why and how things are done; and supporting the school’s strategic development and progress.
