Enrichment at Blakehill Primary School:
Empowering confidence, independence, resilience and future-prepared pupils through a curriculum aligned offer
At Blakehill Primary School, our motto "Together We Can" shapes everything that we do. Enrichment at Blakehill is not an add-on; it is an embedded, integral part of our everyday curriculum design, carefully implemented to ensure that EVERY single child, regardless of background or starting point, has access to experiences and opportunities that build, character, curiosity and strong values.
Our ambition is to eliminate potential barriers—including financial, transport, or SEND needs, to ensure our enrichment provision is fully inclusive and accessible to all pupils.- PHSE / RSE Curriculum,

We monitor our enrichment offer through participation tracking, pupil voice and analysis of attendance, behaviour and wellbeing data. This is used to inform our enrichment offer to ensure that it remains fluid and tailored to the needs of all Blakehill children.
Some club places are intentionally set aside, with staff inviting pupils from under-represented or vulnerable groups, for example, Inclusion Games and families supported to overcome barriers to accessing clubs. This targeted approach to widening access supports the school to align enrichment with their broader school priorities, including attendance, wellbeing and behaviour.
Blakehill children are fully immersed in individual and team sports, physical activities like dance, fitness activities or cycling, representing the school locally, regionally and nationally ( Wembley 2024 and 2026) and attending live events.
